Usui Reiki I & II

Presented by Kathy Meadowlark Dawe and Breighton Dawe

In the first day, we focus on the Reiki I information and learn hands-on healing through practice.  Students will receive the 1st degree Reiki attunement that allows them to channel the Reiki healing energy.  Giving and receiving Reiki treatments and the use of proper hand positions will be practiced.  We will also work to gain awareness of the body’s energy systems and learn to feel the movement of the Reiki healing energies within others and ourselves.

On the second day, we expand on the knowledge base gained from the Reiki I work and learn the sacred Reiki symbols.  Students will receive the Reiki II attunements.  Utilizing the new symbols and attunements, we will practice additional techniques for hands-on-healing, long distance healing, and emotional healing.  The maturing practitioner will learn to address both healing and situational problems through the use of the Reiki symbols and advanced techniques.  We also discuss the use of other energies and healing modalities and how they work in combination with Reiki.

Reiki is not just for people who want to be healers, though it is a wonderful tool for them. Reiki is for individuals who live in the real world -- for ourselves and our families. It gives us tools to help us deal with stress, to alleviate pain, and to help us through difficult emotional spots. It also helps us through moments where we feel helpless or would otherwise not know what to do.
